Brittany started baking just over a year ago, and what began as a simple curiosity quickly rose into a full-blown passion fueled by flour, fire, and a whole lot of love. 100% self-taught, she honed her craft at home with persistence, creativity, and her now-legendary sourdough starter, Big Bertha. From bagels to artisan loaves, Brittany loves baking everything and it shows in every bite.
By day, she works full-time in healthcare. By night (and sometimes very early morning), she’s a flour-dusted force in the kitchen and a devoted mom of two. She finds joy not just in the process, but in the connections it creates: first-time customers often become regulars, drawn in by both the flavor and the feeling. Named in honor of her favorite place, the mountains, Crafton’s Summit Sourdough reflects Brittany’s love for hiking, camping, and chasing 14ers. While her husband Matt keeps things moving behind the scenes, Brittany is the heart and soul of the bakery, baking the hell out of everything.
